Vests are a type of Equipment in surviv.io. They protect you from damage and offer different levels of protection depending on which level you have, similar to Helmets. The highest tier vest available in normal mode, the Level 3 Vest, reduces damage by almost half (45%), however they don't help protect against headshot damage. Vests do not degrade as of the v0.1.6 update. Vests can be found everywhere and increase in rarity in higher levels. Level 4 vests can only be obtained by Lone Survivrs in the 50v50 Map.

Individual Vests[]

Level 1 Vest[]

The Level 1 Vest is the 1st Vest in game, the most common, and also reducing the least damage. It appears light gray on the player and appears as a circle. It reduces 25% of body damage.

Level 2 Vest[]

The Level 2 Vest is the 2nd Vest in game, after the Level 1 Vest, it appears as a dark gray circle around the player and reduces 38% of body damage.

Level 3 Vest[]

The Level 3 Vest is the 3rd Vest in game, after the Level 1 Vest and the Level 2 Vest, it appears as a black circle around the player. It reduces 45% of body damage.

Note: While the tint value is set to 000000 in the infobox, it is just "0" in the code. This is not shown as it would cause an error in the infobox.

Level 4 Vest[]

The Level 4 Vest is only given to the Lone Survivr. It reduces 60% of body damage. It can't be dropped neither by death nor manually.

Trivia[]

  • In the early stages of the game, the Vests and Helmets used to have 100 health (and absorbed the damage that they blocked the player from taking). This was removed in the v0.1.6 "LMGesus!" update, the same update that added the DP-28.
