The Chrysanthemum Chest is a Crate added in the v0.7.3 "Awesome blossoms" update on March 20, 2019. This chest is the only chest that can drop a Katana Orchid in the normal map.

Map Spawn[]

Chrysanthemum Chests are always found in the Teahouses and nowhere else. Teahouses always spawn on the Normal Map, Potato Map, Main Spring Map, and Woods Map. There are usually 2 to 3 Teahouses per game. Spawning late in a game usually lowers your chances of finding one. When you spawn, and see a Teahouse nearby on your Minimap, looting the building is usually a good idea if you spawned early.

Trivia[]

  • There are a guaranteed 2 (3 in squads) Chrysanthum Chests that spawn in a game, all as part of the Teahouse structures.
  • Despite being referred to as a chest in the changelog and spawning chest drops of Tier Chest, like the Treasure Chest and River Chest, its internal ID and other loot drop (Tier Chrys Case) implies that it is a case.
  • The Chrysanthemum Chest is very similar in appearance to the Red Emblem Case, which suggests that it was used as the basis for the Red Emblem Case.
  • The chrysanthemum on the crate is Japan's emblem, which implies that this crate has something to do with KHI.
  • It has been referred to as the "golden chest" in the update.
    • This is likely due to its one-of-a-kind gold colors that decorate the chest.
