The Broken Stairs is an Obstacle in surviv.io. There is only one of these and it is only found in the Mansion. It is located behind the plants in the center of the 1st floor, and next to the stairs that go to the basement of the Mansion. It can be broken and will drop nothing when broke.
Strategies[]
- When someone is hunting you down you can hide under the broken stairs just like under a Table, and no one will be able to see you.
- However bullets will still pass through and you might be killed before your hiding spot is even destroyed.
- Wait under the broken stairs until you see someone close to you can then attack them, and hopefully you might be able to ambush and kill them.
- If you believe someone is hiding under the Broken Stairs but you can't see them, destroy the object to check. Cooking a Frag Grenade is one of the best ways to do so.

- If you look at the area in front of the broken stairs there is an explosion mark which is similar to the one when a Frag Grenade is thrown. This supposedly shows that there was an explosion that destroyed the stairs.
- This could suggest that a second floor used to exist before or can hint a second floor in the future.
