The Bank is a good starting location that spawns only once per Map in a random location. The Bank is the smallest high-risk building, and contains the least loot. Despite this, the bank still generally attracts large amounts of survivrs as a few good guns and decent supplies can be found within. The Bank contains two Stands, two Toilets, a Vending Machine and the bank safe, which houses six vault containers along with a guaranteed skin, the Jester's Folly. While the look the back itself yields is not the best (most of the vault containers yield low tier pistols, and generally the best takeaways are Consumables, a low-tier SMGs, a low-tier Shotguns, an AK-47, or a M416), the large amount of people that pass through it and the subsequent fights that take place can result in the bank being filled with items from unfortunate players, so checking out the back when passing by it can occasionally pay off.
In the Desert Map, the bank spawns in Desert Towns, 2 in a game, with a Stone Hammer instead of the Jester's Folly. Gold Vaults are also more common in this mode, and the loot is generally better as well.
How To Find The Bank
To find a Bank, look at the map. There should be a big, wood-colored building somewhere on the map. It should be noted that if a Bank is too far away, it may be looted by the time you get there.
Vaults are structures inside the bank. They contain a guaranteed Jester's Folly (replaced with Stone Hammer in Desert Maps) and 6 vault containers that come in the colors of metal and gold. They contain a lot of loot; enough to fill a team with basic items such as shotguns and med-kits. Metal vaults will drop a single item or gun with ammo, while gold vaults drop the equivalent of two metal vault drops. They are called Deposit Boxes in the games files but are called Vaults by some survivirs. The insides of the vault cannot be seen from outside of its entrance.
- There is a glitch, which is a pixel perfect part at the enterance of the vault which are counted as a "outside" part, you can have a working scope and fire a flare if you stand on that exact pixel/pixels. It is unknown if it has been patched or not.
